Boiler warranties vary depending on:
- Boiler model and range
- Whether it is installed by a manufacturer-accredited installer
- Annual servicing requirements
- System water quality (e.g. filters/magnetic system protection)
- Registration within required timeframes (usually 30–60 days)
Common Warranty Types:
- Standard warranty: 2–5 years (entry-level models)
- Extended warranty: 7–10 years (mid to high-range boilers)
- Premium warranty: up to 12 years (top-tier models with accredited installation)
Important Note for Customers
Extended warranties are often only available when:
- Installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer
- Installed by a manufacturer-approved installer (where required)
- A system filter and correct protection measures are fitted
- The boiler is registered with the manufacturer after installation
